One of the things we’ve done with Enact is handle all data in the same way. Whether the data is collected manually through the user interface or fully automated from another source like a database or an OPC server or even semi-automatic data which comes from typically laboratory devices like a scale or a caliper. We handle all that data in the same way. That means the way that we trigger events so notifications or preform calculations all happen in a consistent manner. Further, with the semi-automatic data that comes in from something like a scale in a laboratory. We’re actually able to see those results on these cloud type devices. Things like a smartphone or a tablet. That’s something we haven’t been able to do before and it’s really exciting. Ultimately, the benefit of handling data in this consistent manner means you don’t have to worry about where you got the data from. You can worry more about the result of the data versus where it specifically came from and that allows you to be more efficient with your time.
